LawnNotes Support
Start with the checks below. If the problem continues, send enough context for us to trace it without exposing passwords or unnecessary customer information.
Contact support
Email support@lawnnotes.com. Include:
- Your account email and organization name.
- The iPhone model and iOS version, or browser name and version.
- The approximate time, property or walk involved, and the steps before the problem.
- A screenshot or exact error message if it does not expose customer-sensitive information.
Account access
Forgotten password
Use “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen. Open the newest reset email on the device where you want to set the password. Reset links can expire and should not be forwarded.
Invitation trouble
Ask the workspace owner to confirm the invited email address and resend or replace the invitation. Use the same email address that received the invitation.
Delete your account
See Delete your LawnNotes account for in-app steps, shared-workspace effects, and the support-request alternative.
Subscriptions and purchases
Subscribe in the iPhone app under Settings → Subscription. Apple shows the price and renewal terms before you confirm payment. To recover an existing purchase, sign in to LawnNotes and choose Restore Purchases on that screen using the Apple Account that originally subscribed.
Manage or cancel renewal in Apple Subscriptions. For a refund request, use Apple’s purchase support. Deleting your LawnNotes account or uninstalling the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Offline work and synchronization
- Keep LawnNotes open when reconnecting so pending records and media can resume.
- Resolve any visible failed or conflicted changes before signing out or clearing browser/app storage.
- Do not delete the app, clear site data, or use private browsing while unsynchronized work remains only on that device.
- If browser storage is full, export available recovery data when offered, free storage, and retry.
For a sync problem, tell support whether the record appears on the original device, the other client, both, or neither. Do not recreate the same walk repeatedly unless support asks you to.
Camera, media, and AR
Camera, microphone, Photos, and location features require permission from iOS or your browser. You can review those permissions in device or site settings. Location attachment also follows your LawnNotes capture preference.
AR measurement and simultaneous front/rear capture depend on supported iPhone hardware and are not available on the web. LawnNotes retains manual measurement and standard camera fallbacks. Treat AR and material results as field estimates and verify critical dimensions independently.
Customer reports
Review notes, captions, media labels, and customer-visibility settings before publishing. Customer links can be opened by anyone who receives the active link. If a link was sent to the wrong person, revoke it from the report history and publish or share a replacement as needed.
Publishing and revoking require a network connection. If a video will not play, try a current Safari, Chrome, Edge, or Firefox version and include the report version—not its private secret—in a support request.
Security and privacy
For suspected account compromise, unintended report access, a lost device, or a privacy request, email support@lawnnotes.com promptly with “Security” or “Privacy request” in the subject. Do not send the sensitive content itself in the first message.
For details about information handling, read the Privacy Policy. Use the account deletion instructions to close an account.
